A living map of Eurasia
Command your armies across a hand-painted hex map from the Rus forests to the Song cities. Rival rulers expand, trade and go to war on their own, so no two campaigns play the same.
Version 2.1 · Now with online multiplayer
The year is 1206. The steppe is yours to unite.
Lead Genghis Khan's Mongols or one of their great rivals across a hand-painted map of Eurasia. Build an empire province by province, play tactical cards at the decisive moment, and write your own chapter of the Tales of the Steppe.
The game
Deep enough to master, clear enough to learn in minutes. Every turn brings gold, food, horses and manpower, and every decision counts.
Command your armies across a hand-painted hex map from the Rus forests to the Song cities. Rival rulers expand, trade and go to war on their own, so no two campaigns play the same.
Battles are decided by terrain, fortresses and morale. Besiege capitals, guard the passes and strike where the enemy is weak.
From legendary stallions to siege engines, the right card at the right moment can turn a losing war.
Sign trade agreements, non-aggression pacts and alliances, accept a truce or declare war. Hold the Silk Road and your treasury overflows.
Camps, markets, workshops, stables, bridges, fortresses and wonders. Grow each province into the backbone of your realm.
Ask the Moose about the rules at any time. A complete rulebook and a world chronicle of the 13th century are always one tap away.
No account and no connection needed for single player. Autosave, five save slots, easy, normal and hard difficulty, and fourteen languages.
